Baptism

In Baptism, we are asked to walk by the light of Christ and to trust in His wisdom. Baptism takes away original sin and gives us a new birth in the Holy Spirit. In Baptism, the Holy Spirit moves us to answer Christ's call to holiness. We are invited to submit our hearts to Christ with ever deeper love.

Parents anticipating the Baptism of a first child are asked to attend a special preparation session.

This program strives to ensure that parents are aware of the meaning of baptism in Christian life.

Through a process of discussion and instruction, parents’ understanding of the sacrament and experience of belonging to the parish are strengthened. Couples willing to share their parenting experiences are encouraged to assist in conducting this program.
