Saint Anselm Youth Ministry is an engaging, authentic, joyful approach to forming middle school and high school teens in the Catholic faith. We strive to build a community of empowered young people through service-oriented, social, and spiritual activities that are connected to the parish and the community at large. All high school students are invited to join us on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the Life Teen Room for time to recharge and relate with God and one another.

Annual Events Fall RetreatEvery fall we steal away for the weekend to make new friends, relax, and connect with God away from the busyness of everyday life! Each year the theme and focus changes, but it always includes time for talks, small groups, sacraments, and a bonfire.SteubenvilleSteubenville STL Mid-America is a high-energy youth conference where thousands of teens are invited to encounter Jesus Christ through dynamic speakers, engaging music, the Sacraments, small group discussions, and fellowship with other teens. It is an outreach of Franciscan University in partnership with the St. Louis Archdiocesan Office of Youth Ministry.
WHEN: Depart on Friday, July 18 in the morning around 9am, and return on Sunday, July in the early evening around 4pm.
WHERE: The campus, dorms and dining halls of Missouri State University in Springfield, MO
TRANSPORTATION: Charter bus shared with another parish
COST: $325 regular (register before May 30), $350 late (register after May 30 with full, non-refundable payment)

Teens can expect messy games, Daily Mass, powerful worship and sessions, new friends from all over the country, opportunities for Reconciliation, high and low ropes courses, Eucharistic Adoration, the chance to bond with their Saint Anselm faith family and so much more.

COST: $800ChristPowerChristPower is a week-long service retreat providing high school teens an opportunity to grow in their faith while serving as the hands and feet of Jesus. It takes place locally in Saint Louis. We will be joining with the youth groups from St. Clement and St. Peter (Kirkwood) for this event!

COST: $300Life Teen Leadership ConferenceAt the heart of LTLC is a generation of teens that crave depth, substance, and relationship in their faith. Teens will have time to adore the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration, participate in powerful worship, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, gain practical leadership skills, and meet other teens from across the country who are committed to discipleship and evangelization. The conference has been crafted with sessions, talks, and prayer experiences that deepen each teenager’s faith while enlivening their hearts for ministry back home. This event is by invitation only for rising juniors and seniors.WHEN: June 23rd-27th

CORE TEAM
The CORE team is an amazing group of adults who are passionate about leading teens to meet, know, and serve Christ. A CORE member is an adult who will be an important role model in teenagers' lives. The approach to ministry should be rooted in service, commitment, and dedication to the Church and the teenagers you serve. CORE members are role models to all our teens, knowing that how you live, and act makes a strong impression on teens. The CORE team works with the youth minister, to plan weekly Life Nights, annual retreats, social events, and much more.
