OCIA - Becoming Catholic

Each and every person comes to know the faith in their own unique way and in God's good time. The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) specifically prepares those in adulthood to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation). What is OCIA?
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is an ongoing "come and see" program for those interested in becoming Catholic, or for those who were baptized Catholic without later receiving First Holy Communion or Confirmation. Inquirers have the chance to get their questions answered, and to learn more about our rich Catholic traditions, the Bible, the Mass, the Sacraments, and to determine if being received into full communion with the Catholic Church is where God is calling them at this point in their lives.If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and the possibility of becoming Catholic, please contact Saint Anselm's OCIA Coordinator, Barbara Kruse at [email protected].
