In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. Confirmation deepens our baptismal life, which calls us to be missionary witnesses of Jesus Christ in our families, neighborhoods, society, and the world. We receive the message of faith in a deeper and more intensive manner with great emphasis given to the person of Jesus Christ, who asked the Father to give the Holy Spirit to the Church for building up the community in loving service. Like Baptism, Confirmation is received only once.
Youth
Confirmation is celebrated within the parish once a year in the spring and is offered to students in the 8th grade. Teens must attend the program designed to prepare them for this sacrament. The preparation and the celebration also require a strong family involvement. Online registration is now open for the 2025-2026 school year! Registration fee is $275. Highschool-age teens interested in being confirmed, or adults interested in being catechists, please contact Courtney Rockamann, Youth Minister at 314.878.2120, ext. 180 or [email protected].
Adults If interested in Confirmation, please contact the parish office at 314.878.2120 or [email protected].
