St. Anselm Youth
This ministry is centered and based on the Eucharist as it focuses on leading teens closer to Christ. This is accomplished through the Mass and various activities. The weekly bulletin includes upcoming youth activity. The 6:30 p.m. Sunday Parish Mass is held in the Church. Life Nights and other youth ministry events take place prior to Mass from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Life Nights are a way to delve into our Catholic faith and examine how it affects us every day. They are great fun and a good time to just hang out with other Catholic teens.
ChristPower Meeting
Youth @ St. Anselm is sending 25 teens on ChristPower this summer! We are in need of some supplies for our week of service and prayer and donations would be appreciated. We are in need of work gloves, protective eyewear and painting supplies for our work sites and small kiddy pools for our Wednesday Fun Night. Any help is greatly appreciated!
ChristPower XIV 2009 Christian Hope

ChristPower is all about Hope — and this year that is our theme — Christian Hope — the sense of goodness and meaning in our lives...gathered from our experience of the love that is stronger than death. (Pope Benedict XVI, Spe Salvi) For me the ChristPower Retreat has always helped to restore my hope in God, and also my hope in young people, who allow themselves to live for others during those days.
I encourage you to attend ChristPower this year in June, so that your Hope—our Hope—may be renewed.
