Parish School of Religion (PSR)
St. Anselm offers a Religion Program for children, pre-school through grade seven. (Confirmation preparation is the 8th grade curriculum). Sacramental preparation includes Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. The preparation of these Sacraments requires family involvement. The children attend Advent and Lenten prayer services; two class Reconciliation Services and various Family Liturgies throughout the year. A one-week Summer Religion Program is offered for 4 year olds through grade 5.
Liturgy of the Word for Children: During the 11:00 a.m. Mass, children (K-5th grade) participate in a Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
Special Advent and Lenten Family Programs take place every year - Bedtime Stories/Night-time Prayer for Advent and Journey with Jesus for Lent.
